TFR 86: Asghar Farhadi’s A Separation

Welcome to a deadly serious edition of The Film Room

Due to recent events, we have decided to do two things. One is to cover an Iranian film, an area of film we’ve neglected until now. Not just any Iranian film, but Asghar Farhadi’s 2011 masterpiece, A Separation! Two is to donate this month’s Patreon funds to the ACLU for their efforts in the event in question (we wouldn’t do this unless we absolutely knew that our supporters wouldn’t mind us doing so).

This drama focuses on a couple who has separated, and the events that their separation is directly responsible for.

So come join us as we get serious!
