Ahead of the Netflix series, we decided to address Justin Simien’s debut film Dear White People.

Full disclosure: We are, indeed, two white guys (if you didn’t already know), so we can’t comment on the film from inside black culture, but we can look at it from the perspective of, well.. white people. (No worries, we love the film, which is why we’re giving it the deserved attention).

We also expound on some of the deeper, more universal social issues the film brings up because hey, we have things to say about them too.
