We kick off Season 4 of our podcast with a request for one of the greatest films ever made, The Godfather, as requested by Bridgett Shinn! We talk the film’s legendary staying power in the culture, and Al shares a piece of real local mob history. So come hear Austin and Al state their case as to why this film belongs in people’s film collections as a living film, and not as a museum exhibit on this, the cusp of their 3rd anniversary.

This week’s request was made by Patron Bridgett Shinn! She requested A Man Called Horse, a movie starring one of her favorite actors, Richard Harris! We had fun with this one, as it was the first (and certainly not last!) Western we’ve ever covered. We discuss what it means to be PC in the 70’s, as well as Harris’s long career, and what a feat of a movie this is.
